John Gent
John started the business in 1974 from home with an escort van doing express deliveries; he quickly expanded to include furniture deliveries and household removals. In the early 1980’s he moved operations from Avonmouth to a 10,000 sq ft warehouse in Yate and quickly built up the logistical and storage side of the business. In 1992 he moved again, across the road to their current premises a 65,000 sq ft warehouse on a 4 acre site, which has allowed him to develop and expand the business further.

John has run several marathons, the Bristol in 1984, the London in 1985 and 1988, all raising money for the Bristol Eye Hospital. More recently he has completed the 2001 and 2002 London Marathons for Meningitis.
